2023 campaigns
For national Mental Health Awareness month, I created the following educational awareness campaign for the North Central Texas Emergency Communications District (NCT9-1-1). The focus point of this campaign was to spread educational tips and to lessen the stigma surrounding mental health. Overall, the goal was to spread mental health tips and educate our audience on mental health awareness. Below are a few examples of the graphics and captions I created for this campaign.

NATIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY TELECOMMUNICATORs WEEK
During National 9-1-1 Education Month, I created an additional week long campaign for National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, which takes place during the second week of April. This week long campaign focused on raising awareness and celebrating 9-1-1 telecommunicators. Similar to the 9-1-1 Education Month campaign, I created seven graphics and captions for this campaign to post on NCT9-1-1 social media platforms. I also created a blog for National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. You can find this blog under the “Written Content” tab on my portfolio. Below are a few of the graphics and captions I created for this campaign.
march- women’s history month
For National Women’s History month, I created a month long un-paid campaign highlighting Women in the Public Safety Industry. Specifically, I chose four Women within the Public Safety industry who have positively contributed to the 9-1-1 industry. I created a graphic and a short write-up for each of these Women and featured one each week. I also wrote a blog honoring these Women for National Women’s History month. You can find the blog under the “Written Content” tab in the header of my portfolio. Below are a few of the graphics and captions I created for this campaign.
During National 9-1-1 Education Month, I created a month long educational awareness campaign that focused on 9-1-1 education. For this campaign, I created 31 graphics and captions. Each graphic contained one public safety tip. During my time at NCT9-1-1, I was a part of the Public Educators of Texas (PETs) and created this campaign under this group. The goal of this unpaid campaign was to share one 9-1-1 educational tip a day for the entire month of April. Below are a few of the graphics and captions I created for this campaign.
2022 campaigns
text to 9-1-1
As NCT9-1-1 Communications Coordinator, I was in charge of researching, planning, executing, and collecting the data for one paid educational awareness campaign per year. For 2022, I conducted a paid survey to gain knowledge about the public’s understanding of 9-1-1 services within NCT9-1-1’s service area. A large portion of said service area were unaware of the ability to text to 9-1-1. I took the results of the survey and conducted research for a paid campaign focused on the text to 9-1-1 capability. Educating the community on Public Safety was a big part of my position at NCT9-1-1. The text to 9-1-1 campaign is an example of the many educational awareness campaigns I conducted at NCT9-1-1. During the planning process for this campaign, I created a mood board before designing the Ads for the campaign. For this campaign in particular, I created four ads to be promoted on Facebook for the span of two months. I also created a landing page for NCT9-1-1’s official website to host the campaigns information. To view this landing page, please visit the “Additional Work” tab located on the header of my portfolio. Once the campaign concluded, I created a performance report to show the analytic data of the campaign. Below are two examples of the Ads I created for this campaign. 2020-2021 campaigns
plead the 1st campaign
The first paid campaign I ever worked on was a paid Public Relations campaign. I, along with my college class mates, created this campaign during a course at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in 2020. This Public Relations campaign ran from 2020-2021. The client-identified goal for this campaign was to raise awareness of the First Amendment freedom and engage university students on the topic. For this campaign, my class mates and I created a slogan and logo. The strategy and tactics used to market this campaign was social media out reach. Specifically, we created social media frames, hashtags, incentives, and infographics. The branding for this campaign included the campaign logo on T-shirts, stickers, and gift bags. A big part of the marketing and engagement aspect of this campaign was to create “memes” to boost views, engagements, and shares on social media platforms. To view the full detailed report for this campaign, please refer to the “Additional Work” tab under the header of my portfolio. Below is the campaign logo as well as the marketing t-shirt’s made for this campaign.
